Welcome to Little Ears Somerset!
I created this safe space for parents, carers and families of Deaf and HOH (Hard of Hearing) children because I understand how overwhelming it can be when you are sat in that audiology room and you get told that your child has a hearing loss.
I also know how hard it can be as a child with hearing loss. The unknown of the journey you are about to embark on or the uncertainty of the future - no matter how far along your journey you are - it can feel heavy and lonely.
Therefore, I hope that this community supports you in some way.

Our Mission and Vision
At Little Ears Somerset, we are aiming to create a welcoming space for families raising Deaf or HOH children in Somerset. We want to create a community filled with support, resources and gentle encouragement - so no parent feels alone.
We imagine a community where every deaf or HOH child grows up surrounded by love, a sense of belonging and opportunitues. Every family feels empowered, supported and celebrated from the beginning.
